Find us at Riverside Bar & Restaurant on Cross St in Sudbury, Suffolk (England). 

 

Our riverside location on the banks of the picturesque and tranquil River Stour is perfect for exploring the Stour Valley 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty' from the water. 

 

Our hire fleet includes:  

- Canoes (up 2 to adults & 2 small children)

- Kayaks (single seat 'sit-on-top' kayaks)

- Tandem Kayaks (two seat 'sit on top' kayaks)

- Stand Up Paddle Boards (single user)

 

All craft are available to hire on the River Stour for self guided paddling (ie you are free to paddle wherever you like).  Some popular routes are detailed below.

Paddle'N'Pub - Short:    Enjoy a one hour return  paddle on the River Stour  with a  canoe / kayak hired from  our base  at Sudbury Boathouse.   
Paddle'N'Pub - Half Day:     Explore the upper navigation with a  gentle  paddle to The Henny Swan and back, 1hr each way. Save £'s with Session Times

    Lane and Ballingdon Rd.

GETTING   TO  US:  

Train: Sudbury Station is approx 15mins walk from the Hire Centre.  Connecting trains from London  lines .

Bus: Sudbury is served by a  wide network of busses from Ipswich,  Colchester, Chelmsford.

Car: Please use CO10 2DL  with Sat Nav and use Council Car Parks at Ballingdon Rd and Mill Lane.   We do not benefit from onsite parking.
