Nature and Wildlife trips on the River Stour with expert RSPB Wardens.
We've teamed up with the legends at the RSPB to offer a limited number of scheduled Canoe Safaris designed to talk you through every sight and sound experienced, in real time , as you paddle through Cattawade Marshes Nature Reserve and up to Flatford Mill.
These 2.5 - 3 hour safaris provide a truly unique opportunity for everyone to experience .

Canoe Safaris are operated directly by Outdoor Hire Centres Ltd who have invited RSPB to provide natural world knowledge only during these trips.

Safaris are held twice a day on each of the following dates and last 2.5 - 3hrs.
Morning Departures are at 08:00hrs
Afternoon Departures are at 17:00hrs (min age 9 yrs old)

Please arrive 15 mins before departure time.
Please note that no facilities exist at the departure point - we will stop at Flatford Mill for a leg stretch / toilet break.
PRICES :
Canoes: £70 for 2 people, £5 per additional person.
Our Tradional 'Open Canoes' carry up to 2 Adults and 2 Children - a min of two paddlers are required for these boats.
Single Kayaks: £35 each.
Sit-on-Top Kayaks suitable for one person only. We suggest age 14 or older but you know your children better than we do!
Double Kayak
Adult + Child: £40.
Adult + >16yrs: £70
Sit-on-Top Kayaks suitable for one adult and one small child.

- We do NOT provide instruction or coaching. RSPB Wardens are present only to share their expertise of the Natural Environment. OHC staff are present as 'Hire Attendants' and retain the right to terminate a trip or participation in one for any reason.
